The UN Behavioural Science Fellowship Programme supports UN Entitites applying Behavioural Science
The UN Behavioural Science Fellowship Programme brings behavioural scientists from the Global North and South into the UN to work on projects and support UN Entities in their behavioural science application. The Programme:

-
Increases BeSci expertise across the UN system by providing knowledge and technical understanding to BeSci projects;

-
Demonstrates the impact of BeSci for sustainable development both internally within the UN and externally within the broader international community; and

-
Enhances UN external partnerships in BeSci with academia, non-profits, and governments.

01. What is the UN BeSci Fellowship?
Eco-Friendly Design
The UN Behavioural Science Fellowship supports UN Entities in applying BeSci through fostering opportunities for behavioural scientists from the Global North and South to work in collaboration with the UN.
03. What have the UN BeSci Fellows achieved?
Multilingual Functionality
UN Behavioural Science Fellows have carried out advisory work, online experiments and field experiments in collaboration with UN Entities such as FAO, the ILO and the UN Office at Geneva. Fellow work has led to policy change in governments as well as increased "learning by doing" of UN colleagues. Many fellows remain working with the UN after their Fellowship has ended.

The Fellowship has afforded fellows the opportunity to present their work during UN Behavioural Science Week, and in academic fora including lecturing at the University of Cambridge and presenting in international behavioural science academic conferences.
02. Who are the UN BeSci Fellows?
24/7 Support
UN Behavioural Science Fellows are usually PhD students or post-doctoral fellows who work on behavioural science projects in partnership with UN Entities.
04. How can I get involved?
The UN Behavioural Science Fellowship Programme is currently still in a pilot phase. We will launch a call for Fellows when the Programme is further established.
